The Grandmaster Iulija Osmak Гроссмейстер is the first prize winner at the National Cup Stage among women of Moscow Open 2020. A great result of 8,5 points out of 9 allowed a Ukrainian chess player to get the first place one round before the end of the competition. In the last game Osmak made a quick draw with Baira Kovanova.
Anastasia Bodnaruk (Saint Petersburg), Baira Kovanova (Saratov region), Mariya Yakimova (Republic of Tatarstan) and Daria Voit (Moscow) are 1,5 points behind the winner.
According to tie-breaks a Silver medal went to Bodnaruk and a Bronze one – to Kazanova.
It should be mentioned that 116 chess players from 11 countries were fighting for victory.
