An 18-year old International Master from Saint Petersburg Sergei Lobanov won the National Cup stage among men of Moscow Open 2020. Having won three games in a row in the final straight, he gained 7,5 points and could break away from the competitors by half a point.
Eight participants fell behind the winner by half a step. The best tie-break indicators allowed the Grandmaster Daniil Lintchevski (Leningrad region) become the second; a Bronze medal went to the Grandmaster Zhamsaran Tsydypov (Republic of Buriatia).
